Spain headed into the match as tournament favorites, but things just didn’t go their way in this must win encounter. In the end, the 2010 world champions succumbed to Morocco in the last 16 of the World Cup on penalty shootout, failing to score a single goal. The Moroccans have had a dream run so far in the tournament and will be now facing either Switzerland or Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal in the quarter finals.
